Eva was "Mini Me" as she was just like her mama, Aly -naughty and full of drive and attitude. She liked to "talk" when she was excited, just like her brother, Bingo, whether carrying a sock or toy in her mouth while making funny noises only she could create. That's now passed down two and three more generations to her grandkids and great-grandkids. Eva was the patient one, never pushing to the front or overly demanding attention. She was the first to enter the water at the tender age of 8 weeks, jumping into a friend's pond with all the confidence of a true Labrador. She was a wonderful dam with natural mothering instincts, which she passed on to her daughter, Pip, who got the genes from both sides with Idgie as her grandmama.
I'm eternally grateful to Eva for her constant kind presence, ease of being with every person she ever met, and great attitude and spunk that she carried until the end.
