Aly was my foundation bitch. She was full of life and vigor, bringing a naughtiness and character that I loved so much. At 11 years old she still felt she was 5, stirring up the pack and butt-tucking with the best. She brought a pleasing blend of drive, biddable nature, and confidence that allowed her to excel in many venues. Most of all, I just loved her adoring face and love for me. She would do anything to please me and she's passed that down to my current generation. Aly had a successful show career including Reserve Winners Bitch at the Canadian National, Specialty Best of Winners, and multiple Specialty placements.

I feel truly blessed that I was able to start my breeding program with the granddaughter of a bitch I fell in love with when I went to pick up my stud puppy from a breeding Lisa Weiss, Lobuff Labradors, did with Roman. The moment I saw Am.Can.Ch. Lobuff Sundown at Kerrymark, "Sunny", I knew I wanted to start my breeding program with something from her, if at all possible. Lisa was kind enough to point me to Bob and Terri Shober who had a Sunny daughter. I'm truly grateful to Lisa and to Bob and Terri for Aly, who is sired by one of my favorite stud dogs, Ch. Tabatha's Drifter at Dickendall JH. I'm eternally grateful to Aly for the beautiful puppies she gave me from each litter she whelped: Idgie, Eva, and Jack, along with their special littermates that made so many families forever happy.
