Pip's last litter was sired by "Elba", Ch. Darling Hill Lobuff All That and Then Some. I bred to Elba as he brought in my favorites through his sire, "Bo" and his dam who was a Brodie daughter. We had three beautiful babies, two of which I ran on. I originally named them for the beautiful October morning we had on the day they were born: Apple, Leaf, and Cider. I had one of my best friends, Sheila, with me to help with the whelping and it was an experience we'll treasure forever. Holly and Sting were a wonderful pair. Sting was shown a few times, winning all his classes at specialties, including at the 2018 Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac under Fiona Bradden, Trendlewood Labradors. She had nice things to say about Sting at his first show:
"Very nice black dog at his first show; big dog but moves well; well made all through and deep through his chest; lovely head."
Holly is still here with us today. She did not like the show ring but she's an amazing girl. She did well at some shows and specialties, but we decided to let her live her life without the spotlight. Cider, who is now Cheddar, is living an incredible life with a family who had one of our pups from our Louie x Eva litter.
