Born on a beautiful Vermont fall morning full of blue sky and colored foliage, Holly was first named Apple for the plethora of apples on the trees right out the dining room window where she was born. Holding onto a name I always wanted to use and living back in Vermont at the time, she became Nycoma Way Moonlight in Vermont for the Billy Holiday song I so love. I wanted a Billy, actually, but she fit the name Holly better.

Holly is a sweet and kind girl who never loved the show ring. She had several specialty class placements and a Reserve Winners Bitch at her first all-breed show, but she chose other avenues to find her happiness. She excels in retrieving and has great drive like her mama, Pip. Rather than drag her around to do things she doesn't enjoy, we let her shine at home and enjoy life with us all. She especially loves her papa, Jim, as much as she loves me and is a wonderful auntie to the rest of the family here.
