Idgie's first litter was sired by Ch. Ghoststone HySpire Dressed to Impress, "Armani". He was a young dog that knocked my socks off at the Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac Specialty when he was only 7 months old. Armani is a great-grandson of one of my all time favorite stud dogs, "Brodie", who is also Idgie's sire. This was a fabulous combination resulting in some very special pups for our forever families including our BISS Ch. Nycoma Way Moonshadow's Memory, "Louie"; Can. OTCH Nycoma Way Design for Ranbourne, Am. UD, WC, CGC, "A.J.", who went to my dearest friends Val Walters and Jean Bourdon of Ranbourne Labradors; and Can. Ch. Nycoma Way Maid for Watermarsh, "Payton", who went to a lovely family just starting out in Labradors. She provided a strong foundation for future Nycoma Way generations to come.

Idgie was the most incredible Mama. She was something to behold with her natural instincts and love and care for her babies. My presence was only to dote and love on the puppies. She did all the hard work and wanted to nurse those babies up until the day they left for their new homes. We're so grateful for Idgie's motherly instincts that we see today four generations later.
