Emmylou was a very special girl for Marie and I. She picked me out the first time I saw her and she had my heart. Emmylou was as sweet as they come and was such an amazing show girl. Her tail never stopped wagging just like her mama Bella and papa Louie. She loved to snuggle and demanded your attention, just like she did the first time I met her. Emmylou did very well in the show ring finishing all owner-handled with three Specialty Winners Bitch, and those last points coming from the Open Black class at age 10 1/2! She earned multiple Judges Awards of Merit, a Select Bitch, Best in Sweepstakes, and multiple Specialty placements along the way. Emmylou gave Marie and others lovely Labradors to treasure and move on with. We are forever thankful for her kindness and gentle spirit.​

"Wow - what a little star, right up my street. She has the most beautiful head and expression, a lovely clean reach of neck which led in to correct well placed shoulders. She has a good spring of rib and length of loin, excellent rear angulation. Correct amount of bone and standing on neat feet. She was shown today in full coat, in superb condition and carrying the correct amount of weight. Her movement was positive and this carried through to the challenge where she excelled to become winners bitch. One I would have loved to have brought home!”
