Zachary was the most devoted dog, living only to please you and be near your side.  He was the treasured therapy dog, the coveted foot warmer and cuddler.  He did not make it for the show ring, but succeeded so well in other venues.  He finished his CD and CDX in style, and was in training for his Utility title.  He finished his Junior Hunter in four out of four tests, impressing judges with his consistency and diligence. 

 

Those who had the true pleasure of knowing Zachary knew him as the most loving and trusting soul. The cherished therapy dog to many nursing home residents, the best heeling obedience dog who couldn't wait to work, the steadfast jump-shooting duck dog. Many said he was the closest dog they knew to being human. His love was pure adoration, and his heart was as big as they come.  He would do anything to please me, and became a very special soulmate. My heart is empty by his loss, and I will miss him so terribly much. Thank you Zachary, for the wonderful years and memories and your unconditional love.
