Hope was the first born in our "Miracle Litter" of 11, hence her name as we waited anxiously for a healthy litter and whelping. She was originally called Flora for one of the characters in my favorite childhood book, The Fourteen Bears.
​
Hope caught our eye from the time she could breathe. Both Jim and I feel blessed to have her not only as the future of our breeding program, but also as the sweetest, most snuggly, naughty with dish towels, and "gotta love the birds and anything that flies" kind of girl.
​
Hope's done very well in the show ring thus far with two Specialty Best in Sweepstakes, a Specialty Reserve Winners Bitch from the 9-12M Puppy class, a Puppy Group 3, and numerous specialty class wins and placements. She was Best Puppy at her very first show, the Labrador Retriever Club of the Pioneer Valley Match. She took the back seat to her litter sister, Joy, while Joy was doing so well in the show ring. We look forward to what Hope's future holds and feel so incredibly blessed every day to have her in our lives.
